Recruiting marketing interns for a “sustainable x IT start-up company” aiming to transform the wild into the internet

Be responsible for the deer's life and create a system to receive the whole deer.

We are a startup company that aims to improve the relationship between nature and society through IT services. What we are currently working on is solving the problem caused by the overpopulation of deer.
In Japan, more than 70 deer are hunted annually, but less than 20% of them are distributed as venison (game meat). We aim to create a system that circulates the lives of captured deer without wasting them.
As a first step, we developed a system called ``Rakshika''. This system can be easily operated by government officials, health centers, hunters, and deer meat factories, and is intended to ensure safety and transparency in the distribution of game meat.

In this internship, you will work on planning and implementing marketing and branding strategies to increase the number of users of "Rakshika". Even if you are not familiar with the words deer or wild game, if you are interested in IT services in the sustainability field, please apply.
Through this internship, you should be able to take on business opportunities and work with a lot of discretion that you would not be able to experience at other companies. We will do our best to support you so that the participants will have a beneficial experience for their future lives.

Our Projects
  • ◆Planning and execution of marketing and branding strategies to increase the number of users of the “Rakshika” system
  • ◆We will identify local municipalities that are particularly rich in wild game, including deer, raise awareness of the Rakushika system among the government and deer meat factories, and encourage them to test introduce it.

 Dearberry is a three-year-old venture company that was founded with the mission of bringing the charm of deer to as many people as possible in order to create a "society that takes responsibility for life." The current team consists of three people: one engineer who is currently studying at Yokohama National University, one adult marketer who works on the side, and the president, who is a student entrepreneur who just graduated last year. We visit hunters who are active in the field and people at deer meat processing facilities scattered around the country, and set up a business based on our high ideals.
 I look forward to working together to create a business that will serve as an important foundation for creating a major social impact.

Hello! My name is Yohei Watanabe and I am the representative of Dearberry Co., Ltd. I was born in 3 and graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Yokohama National University in March. I think I'm about the same age as all the participants.
From my first year of university, I had internships at four companies, and in my third year, I decided to start a venture from Yokohama National University.In that sense, I think you can also seek career counseling.
We aim to both solve social issues and solve customer issues.We look forward to the experience of overcoming such difficult hurdles together.
