Yokohama Future Organization Space Project x Nojima "Experience with robots! Special programming course for kids" was held

The Yokohama Future Organization has launched a space project to spark a "space-themed movement" in Yokohama.
For the third event, Nojima Co., Ltd. and Yokohama Future Organization Space Project have teamed up to take on a space mission with a robot modeled on the ISS International Space Station's latest replenishment vehicle "HTV-X" currently being developed by JAXA. We held a kids programming course.

In the first half, we used LEGO® to assemble the HTV-X robot supply vehicle. There are many parts and wiring, making it quite difficult. The children will concentrate on their work.

Along the way, a message from astronaut Kamiya Yui was heard, explaining the importance of supply ships and introducing the latest Japanese space food.

After assembling the robot, program it using an iPad.Using the edge of the desk as the Earth and the International Space Station (ISS), you create a program to deliver cargo and return to Earth, and actually move the robot to complete the mission.

Even after the course was over, the children did not want to go home and were experimenting with the programs they had devised.
