Yokohama Future Organization Space Project “Let’s Experience Space at JAXA Sagamihara!!” was held

The Yokohama Future Organization has launched a space project to spark a "space-themed movement" in Yokohama.
The second part of the "Space x Learning" event for kids was a visit to JAXA Sagamihara Campus, a major center for space science research.
Inside the campus, there are exhibits such as an actual model of the M-V rocket, models of artificial satellites, probes, and rockets, explanatory panels, and video works, and JAXA staff explained each corner. In addition, in the wall theater, visitors could enjoy various scenes of space science, including rocket launch scenes, with impressive videos.

The full-scale model of the asteroid probe "Hayabusa 2" was very impressive.

Also on display was the Small Lunar Lander Demonstrator (SLIM), which is scheduled to land on the moon on January 1th.
The landing will be streamed live on the JAXA YouTube official channel "JAXA Channel" from 2024:1 on January 19, 23, just before the moon landing.
