Each workshop aims to deepen understanding of smart city trends both in Japan and overseas, put them into practice, and explore the smart city Yokohama should aim to become.
This time we will report on the first event, which took place on November 12th.
This is actually the final episode of the WS.
The main focus this time is preparing for the presentation at YOXO FESTIVAL.
First, each team shared their progress, including their theme, direction, and the issues they are currently facing.
When you hear "Smart City" workshop, you might think that a lot of technical ideas will come out, but...
There are many teams that focus on network formation, which gives a sense of the changing times.
After each team's presentation, the facilitator commented on the presentation, asking questions and pointing out points,
Recent trends and examples were also shared.
This will likely be a valuable hint in making the proposal more concrete and refining it.
In the second half, each team will work on the details.
There was a lively discussion, making use of the comments, suggestions, and hints given during the presentations.
Many teams will be making separate MTG schedules, so we will likely be able to hear even more polished presentations than we have now.
The next event will finally be a presentation at YOXO FESTIVAL!
