A must-see for students attending universities with campuses in Yokohama City!
The Yokohama Future Institute and Yokohama City are hosting a student workshop, "What will the future of 'Smart City Yokohama' be like?", which will be held again in 2025 and is currently accepting participants.
This year in particular, we will be offering a valuable opportunity to explore the smart city Yokohama should aim for from a corporate perspective and even make proposals!

There is currently active movement towards realizing smart cities not only in Yokohama but around the world.
Yokohama City, which has a unique history and characteristics and is the largest local government in Japan, is wondering what kind of smart city it should aim to become in the future.

This year, with the cooperation of companies and organizations, we will provide opportunities to learn about the initiatives of many more companies, and by incorporating an opportunity to attend the Asia Smart City Conference 2025 (ASCC), which will be held in Yokohama during the period, the program will enable students to gain information about overseas thinking and case studies.

After the project was implemented last year (2024), an article about the project was written with the cooperation of NTT East Japan and the participating students, so please refer to it when considering participating!
