In order to create new innovations in Yokohama, Yokohama City has declared itself an "Innovation City" and is promoting policies centered on the crossover of human resources. A characteristic of Yokohama's industrial clusters is that in recent years, urban research and development centers (R&D) have been moving from the suburbs to urban areas in succession.
In R&D with these new departments, researchers and technical engineers are conducting daily trials to create new businesses.
On the other hand, since the establishment of YOXO BOX in 2019, the accumulation of startups has progressed, and exchanges between startups have accelerated.For this reason, in this survey, we investigated the accumulation of R&D and startups, which is a feature of Yokohama's innovation environment.
