The sound of musical instruments such as guitars and pianos changes depending on the wood used. In this exhibit, you can experience the difference in sound that different woods make using small instruments that anyone can play. We will also introduce the "materials technology that controls sound" that Yamaha has cultivated since its founding in musical instrument making.

This is a hands-on workshop where you can make sounds using various materials, including wood from musical instruments, record them on the spot, and create your own music. Anyone can experience the joy of easy creation by turning their ideas into sound.

Draw pictures with an electric pen on sliced ​​wood from roadside trees that have outlived their usefulness! With a lecture and design assistance from Tensui-ryu pyrography artist Ryohei Watanabe, you can freely draw a Hokusai-style Mount Fuji or any picture you like.
